their eyes were waching god (page 1-)

The worst thing about my book is the vocabulary that this book uses. For example, page9, "Dey all useter call me Alphabt 'cause so many people had done my named me different name" In this line, I had to say the word to know what the word really is, like I have to say "dey" to know it means "they". "'cause" means "because".It was kind of difficult and made me think a lot. This book is killing me...

There Eyes Were Watching God.

I chose this book because my sister said this is really great and I wanted to read. Also I was seeing "https://www.goodreads.com/" and I saw this book.
This book is about an African-American woman in her early forties named Janie Crawford, tells the story of her life and journey with extended flashback to her best friend, Pheoby. It is African-American literature and also women's literature.
The setting of this book is in the central and southern Florida in the early 20th century. I know this because in the book, it says " ...quality white folks up dere in West Florida." (Page 8) This doesn't say exactly were the place is at, but I can know about were did she worked. I can predict that the story takes at about 20th century, because there are still slaves, or unfairness of black people and white people in the story.

The Spellman Files (The Spellmans, #1) The Spellman Files.

My summer reading book is called "The Spellman Files" from Lisa Lutz. It was about Isabel, who is the main character of this book, have a family's firm, Spellman Imvestigation. Spellman Investigation do like tail a Spellman, dig up dirt on, blackmail, and wiretap a Spellman.  Isabel is a huge trouble maker in the begining of the book. She do like sneak into her brother's room and cut his hair, or paints her brother's t-shirts. Her parent is investigator, so when Isabel finds love, they always do research about age, occupation, hobby, and extra. Isabel dosn't like it and when she got a new boyfriend and her sister, Rae follows after her, she snaps and decides that she will gets out of the family business because that's only way she will ever be normal. But she must take last job before the family will let her go.

I really liked this book, because first, I like genre fiction and this book is a diction book. I can know that this book is fiction, because unreal things happens in the story. Also in the end, it says " FICTION". Also this book has a lot of difficult words, so you can learn while you are reading.
